FAQ: How do we get buy-in for a universal program from hospital executives?

How do we get buy-in for a universal program from hospital executives?
The case studies currently posted on the campaign site (http://paHCPfluvax.org/case-studies/)suggest that hospital/healthcare facility leadership should be involved as early as possible as the exploratory and planning stages get underway.  Support is likely best achieved by presenting the evidence – and the experience and commitment of peer institutions – advocating universal immunization programs.

Peer institutions that have adopted universal programs and have achieved success are captured in the PADOH’s honor roll of facilities which have achieved 90 percent+ influenza immunization across their HCPs groups. The 2011 – 2012 Honor Roll is available here:–http://www.portal.state.pa.us/portal/server.pt?open=514&objID=1008994&mode=2
